Reading Truck expands crane body portfolio with RM-25 and RM-35 models

Reading Truck Group (Reading, Pennsylvania) announced it expanded its crane body line-up with the introduction of two new models, the RM-25 Crane Body, and the RM-35 Crane Body. The addition of these two models rounds out its portfolio for RM Series product line by providing customers with a complete range of lifting capabilities and crane body options, from mid-weight to heavy duty.

The new crane bodies reflect decades of engineering and manufacturing expertise, demonstrating Reading’s commitment to providing an accessible, yet premium product that meets the diverse needs of customers, whether owner-operators or fleet management companies.

The RM-25 and RM-35 crane bodies are designed for Class 4 and 5 chassis and are available in 9’ and 9’ or 11’ lengths, respectively. For strength, stability, and reliable performance under rigorous conditions, the RM-25 is built with a 6” heavy-duty steel understructure, and the RM-35 is built with a heavy-duty torsion box understructure. They can be upfitted with most leading cranes and come equipped with manual (RM-25) or electric outriggers. Both models offer key features such as work-bench bumper, spray lined bed, and integrated headache rack to further enhance safety and functionality.
